And the LAFCA winner is... Joe Hisaishi

The winners of the 31st edition of Los Angeles Film Critics Awards (LAFCA) have been announced, and the award for the Best Music Score went to Joe Hisaishi and Youmi Kimura, for their work in "Howl's Moving Castle". The runner-up was, curiously, another oriental composer, Ryuichi Sakamoto for "Tony Takitani".

The awards ceremony will be held at Park Hyatt Hotel, in LA, the next December, 17th.
