FILM MUSIC SEMINAR 2006
"Global Score for Global Village"The Rozbitek Institute presents
"Global Score for Global Village", an international seminar on film music. The event will take place from July 1st through July 3rd 2006 in Poznan, Poland. Lead by experts in their respective fields and touching on diverse aspects of the film music spectrum, the English-language seminar will provide an intimate look into a world often unavailable to those outside Hollywood.
Paul Broucek, Executive President of Music at New Line Cinema (has overseen the music on numerous films including: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Peter Golub, composer and Director of the Music Program at Sundance Institute, and Oscar winning composer,
Jan A.P. Kaczmarek will all share their knowledge and experience on the artistic and business aspects that make up the field of film music. The Seminar is for composers, film professionals and those passionate about music in film.
The cost of the seminar is 270 Euro, which includes all lectures, lunches and a trip to Rozbitek. Each seminar attendant must take care for his/her own lodging, however,recommendations will be made for a well-priced hotel nearby. Please contact piotr@rozbitek.org for more information.
The Lectures on July 1st and 2nd will be held in Poznan at the College of Humanities and Journalism (Wyzsza Szkola Nauk Humanistycznych i Dziennikarstwa) from 10 am to 6 pm inluding lunch. The trip to Rozbitek on the July 3rd is planned from 10am to 6pm. Transportation and a picnic lunch will be provided. To join the seminar please complete the form,
